Mobile communication is a human-computer interaction in which a computer is expected to transport during normal usage. Mobile computing played a significant role in the fields like business and in public sector organizations. There are six major types of mobile computing devices which includes laptop, computers, notebook computers and these three are called portable computers. Personal digital assistants(PDAs), smartphones and portable data terminals are called hand-held computers. Mobile computing involves mobile communication, mobile hardware and mobile software.
Mobile communication includes ad hoc networks, infrastructure networks and it also includes the communication properties, data formats and concrete technologies. Mobile hardware includes mobile devices or device components.
The first mobile computers were developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In 1894, Marconi did an experiment along with hertzian rays and helped to identify the waves over a very long distance. He developed the first consumer laptop in 1980. And later on, the evolution of mobile computing started in the year 2011.

In worst conditions like earthquakes, tsunami, flood, fire communication plays a vital role with mobile computing. It handles the situation easily.
Wired network has been replaced with wireless network. In wired networks like weather forecasting, earthquake detection, it is impossible to get the environmental data. It is possible when you adapt the fixed network in computing.
Wireless networks are capable of delivering the latest information at any suitable region. Wireless network application lies in entertainment and games for example ad-hoc gaming networks. Infotainment by wireless computing is easy when we compare it with other computing.

The presence of high speed connections has also promoted the use of mobile computing.
